No you wont. You'll be chucking poisen darts at him within 10 minutes.

Nah I really wont. I hope all the banner lads and "Im done with this club" types are at Goodison first game to see what proper support is as I'll be there backing the 11 on the pitch regardless of who's in the dug out after 12 months of listening to fake crowd noise watching 38 training sessions.

If come November/December its crap sound boo him out but until then to actively want someone to fail from day one is ludicrous when its the club and you and I that ultimately suffer from that.

I hope there not, especially the one in Caldy, if he isnt found and banned Everton are showing an unacceptable sign of weakness

But who's any better whos available and wants the job mate?

We aint scraping around out of work managers to suddenly paying £10+ milloon compo for some top name manager.

We aint getting Conte, Galtier has almost joined Lille, Favre doesn't want a job now, Rangnick aint coming whilst Brands has a job so that leaves the following realistically:

Howe, Parker, Lampard

For the utter disruption it would make starting the manager search off again from square one when we are nearly in July and need to start sorting out the playing squad / pre season you would be writing off the season before it's started.

Facts are the board want Benitez so we just have to get on with it and see how he gets on. The more we fume the more idiots up the ante with their banners we've already had threats against the family what next?

Its all gone too far but some are too emotionally involved to see it.
There’s a job for you at Burger King. They’re missing a Whopper.

How would ‘starting the manager search off again from square one” be worse than appointing an out-dated dinosaur with his best years well behind him whose potential appointment has caused so much discontent? Why do you think there are only 6-7 managers in the World?

Mate, what do you think of the point that those successes of Benitez were so long ago or were achieved with much better players than our to make them a bit irrelevant to us in our situation?
Fair point mate…though it’s also fair to say that Benitez bought players like Alonso who were key to success.
we have had a succession of managers blow more than a quarter of a billion and we’re 10th in the table.
I accept your point though that there is always a risk in appointing a manager who won things years ago. But there is also a risk in appointing one who has never won anything.
Sadly we are not an attractive enough proposition for the current crop of top managers who are winning things at the moment.

Nobody has been appointed yet. The debate before anything official is perfectly fine.
The matters on the pitch will dictate how it goes. But you've been making no sense for a while. Attacking manager opinions because they "havent won anything" and then championing the likes of sean dyche. Who er..hasnt won anything.

Thats what I keep coming back to. Its not like we are locked in a battle with City for Pep is it? If he has said "I want £200m to spend" and we say "No chance", thats it. Done.

Basically, unless I am thick, he needs a job more than we need him.

So heres the contract, heres the budget, and heres the backroom.

So it just feels not right to me. In a good way.

That's the problem. Because he's desperate he'll accept Moshiris terms. He'll accept Duncan as assistant etc and tell the board whatever want to hear.

Sounds like Nuno made too many demands.

I'm really not - Usmanov/Moshiri knows more about the inner workings of the club more than any of us on here or Twitter.

We can criticise the appointment if it proves to be a failure. Until then nothing we can do but back the club.
You’re missing the point about managers available. Every manager is available.
