Actually, Fergie approached him and told him he was taking the job. He then told Bill when it was confirmed. His contract was expiring, and he behaved pretty normally. He had numerous chances to leave over the years, and had always turned them down.

Alright mate he’s not gonna shag ya

A lot of reports saying Moshiri has met with Nuno and is impressed with him. If he's who we go with I think we need to make a lot of signings (we needed 5 anyway) . He loves to play 3 at the back, either 532 or 343, which would make the need for RWB even more key and also some central midfielders who are mobile, box to box type and able to tackle. Also when we have tried 3 CBs this season our guys have struggled and we have conceded soft goals so we may need new people there as well. I don't see James fitting in that formation, unless he's a 2nd striker in the 532. It possibly means we don't need a RW though
Why do they feel like they need to appoint a manager in 1 day? This guy seriously has no fn clue about football, jesus fn christ....

With months to go in the season he had his mind made up.
Look we all know you love moyes . But most don't want him back. And thankfully he is not returning
If you think that taking Nono or Howe is better than taking Moyes just because of what happened however many years ago, get ready for a relegation struggle.

Could have been in the works for a while.

Interest in Carlo from Madrid was around before the season ended so maybe we started putting out feelers incase he jumped ship.

I hope like hell Moshiri is actually far removed from this. Let Brands do his job please

Seriously. Who is voting for ‘Big Dunc’? Madness.
I'd have thought his last stint as caretaker manager subbing subs and bowing out of cup competitions would have cured any nonsense about him being an Everton manager.

An utter cone laying chancer.

Hopefully this time whoever comes in finally punts the galloot out of the club - and takes the other freeloading coaches with him.

The big man is great, but he is never a manager in a million years.
We really don't know that yet though. He's spent enough time working as an assistant. He's always had bags of energy and passion but he must surely have added some knowledge and insight to that over the last couple of years. It's not as if he's just coaching - he's there on the bench alongside the manager. It could go horribly wrong but so could with any manager. Time to find out if Big Dunc has what it takes to be the Big Man. If nothing else he'd scare the [Poor language removed] out of other managers getting gobby in the technical area!
