They sacked him / didn’t renew his contract.

That’s my point, I don’t believe he’ll get West Ham 6th next year. But I’d much rather he stays there and tries!
Yeah, and it was a massive blunder. The fella is arguably the manager of the season and looks back to his old self.

i would rather he gets us a cup and into Europe than West Ham. He never had the tools to compete on a level playing field with us due to our financial condition, so I am intrigued to see what he could do now we have some backing.

The people we are linked with and meeting. I hope every bozo in the Carlo thread are soaking it in. Loving every minute of it. This is your Everton. You have reclaimed it.

Kudos.

Seeing is though I am Canadian I'm a little surprised how unpopular hiring a English Manager is to the majority of you locals. I realize the options aren't super popular but it seems that buying young English players ala Godfrey/ DCL vs older non sellable signings is the blueprint. So wouldn't a English manager be wise?

Is there no English manager that fans think could do the job?

The list is :-

Frank Lampard
Steve Gerrard
Eddie Howe
Sean Dyche
Dean Smith
Scott Parker
Graham Potter
Steve Bruce
Wayne Rooney
Jonathon Woodgate
Joey Barton
Nigel Pearson
Lee Bowyer
Steve McClaren
Gareth Southgate
Sam Allardyce
Harry Redknapp

Amusing would be Neil Warnock or Ian Holloway

Have I missed any?

I’d love Conte but he’s nailed on for Spurs. I know people are saying they are losing Kane, but he will go for mega money. Conte will more than likely spend the money on Rom who will almost certainly follow him over here.
He ain’t going to Spurs he be going to PSG because Poch is leaving PSG

No-ones first gig is Everton FC. Dunc needs to go and manage a lower league team for 2 or 3 years before he’s let anywhere near our managerial position.

I’d be quite happy with Potter. If BHA had any sort of a goal scorer last season they would have finished above us. Played some nice stuff. Young, ambitious, no language barrier.

Do not want Howe or Moyes, deffo on that. Not sure on Conte but peviously my vote was for Benitez.

Just for a lark some whizz on Temtalk was mentioning Gerrard,
