I give it 3 weeks of the season before you are calling for his head.
I'll give it till Christmas.

Any other manager would get the following Christmas.

He knows what he has to do; if he does it, fine. If he doesn't he's gone.

I wonder why others aren't similarly assuaged over this matter.

He called us a small club? Yes. We've had owners who treated us as (and made us) a small club...I reserve my fury for those people.

My thought is this, to the people who think we are a small club and who agree with Benitez, what do they think he is going to do in order to change that?

If it’s how we set up against the top teams, then he’s going to do absolutely nothing, because that is how he sets up against the top teams

If we were a small club for doing it in the Moyes days we’ll be just as small for doing it now

Have you ever thought of just letting it go......

"I didn't want to be disrespectful to the club. I was talking about the way they were playing, not the club,"

The problem is, what do we expect an Everton manager to do these days?

59 points last season but 10th and dire, dire football - not good enough.

I've always thought a bare minimum at current spend would be to win 18-20 games, so 54-60 points as a par score.

Dave I do not care now who our manager will be, I just want us to win come what may.

That was bollocks, tbf. He knew what he was saying was to undermine Everton and make us feel second rate.

His later explanation is for the birds.

If he does something here, though, I wont care as much.
