We just don’t have the foundations of a well drilled hard working team. We haven’t had it since moyes left really. The season after was really what we should be aiming for - moyes well drilled squad with a touch glamour signings on top. That is the base we need to build from. That is a three year project to get to that point.

That's the crazy part. A couple managers who failed at Everton going on and attracting attention from a couple of the biggest clubs in the world (though a bit more deserved in Ancelotti's case).

I mentioned him Carlin, but got shot down by someone called "Blue Lou"..... if we're looking for a talented young English coach who will stick around for 5-6 years and build something, I like Scott Parker for EFC better than Eddie Howe or Graham Potter

Hes a good manager, there are a lot of candidates I'd dismiss first such as Howe for certain.

Dont see why they would be any worse, Carlo didn't exactly inspire them, at times it even looked like they had even been given feasible instructions

Hate this “doesn’t have prem experience so it’s a risk”.

we have hired managers from the prem which have proved far more of a risk and set us back massively.

we need new thinking, thinking about world football and who we should be looking at. Football does not start and stop with the premiership.
