We just don’t have the foundations of a well drilled hard working team. We haven’t had it since moyes left really. The season after was really what we should be aiming for - moyes well drilled squad with a touch glamour signings on top. That is the base we need to build from. That is a three year project to get to that point.
we need a hard working young midfield base
Yes, if I’m honest mate, out of the ones seriously linked like Nino and Howe, I would take Moyes over them all.

Conte would be my number 1 but looks like that could be a no no.

I just do not trust the board to pick anyone exciting. If Ancelotti had not suddenly become free last time then you know we would have had Moyes.
Moyes is not the answer...look at his record last season, he could not kept losing to the top teams apart from Leicester. Nuno record away from home is not brilliant against the top six. If we hired Moyes or Nuno they would far more money to spend than at West Ham or Wolves. My concern is we get Moyes and Rafael goes to West Ham and does better. Out of Nuno or Moyes or Rafael....Rafael the only one to wins titles and champions League and eurpa league.

I know we won’t get him buy poch is the manager we need. He took spurs from our level to where we want to be. If it wasn’t for lack of investment when he got there, he probably would of won something at the very least with them. Pipe dream I know.

I see Conte is favorite for the Spurs job. No money to spend and probably losing Kane.

Money talks mate, probably paying him handsomely, he's coming in to do an impossible job, and it won't hurt his reputation, it's a can't lose job for him, unless he does something stupid like relegate them.

....still odds-against available for NES with Sky suggests to me they don’t truly know what’s going on despite reports negotiations have started.

I think there’s a possibility the appointee isn’t on this list of the market leaders.
Eggs , you have watched a lot more youth football so you know more about the staff than I .
Would you promote from within ?

Is that not depressing? That you'd settle for Moyes, cause we're stuck with a load of unwanted fodder, who will not push us to the next level.

Praying the club are using the names as a smokescreen, and we're secretly in talks with a decent manager.
