Sorry highly rated managers?I want Moyes me, feel we have tried with both ends of the spectrum with up an coming highly rated mangers and well know names, the ability Moyes had with getting the best out of players setting the bar high is enough to convince me untill dunc is ready to take over.
But a lot of the names you mentioned aren't sure things either appreciate what you are saying but we need to rebuild would I prefer someone who can get results whilst doing it yes, but there aren't many coaches like that. I am not even saying I'm excited by a Nuno but I do think he would implement a strategy. I am not paid to find our next manager so I don't know who is best and yes we should be ambitious I just don't think a name or a winner is going to be a instant fix.It won't fix our squad but if we want to compete again, guys like Nuno, Moyes, Howe and even Rafael are not the ones. I like Gallardo, I don't know if he would leave River Plate as he rejected Barcelona but maybe Moshiri can entice him. Ten Haag I'm not sure on but hes worth a gamble. Conte obviously should be contacted. Rangnick might be persuaded to come out of retirement. Ernesto Valverde was the last success at Barca, and he's currently out of a job. Lucien Favre has greatly improved every club he's been with. Christophe Galtier is a free agent and he just won an underdog Lille team a title. The idea that Everton should accept their lot and not be ambitious is an insult to everything we have achieved in the past.
So basically everyone we have in ours.
Graham Potter
Scott Parker
Ten Hag
Brendan Rodgers
Rafael Benitez

He took over for 2 games and it all felt like a big gimmick at the time. He is nowhere near ready to take over Everton. He should follow Gerrards footsteps and manage in Scotland for a few years.did alright last time.... was a breath of fresh air racing down the sidelines and willing the players on. When things weren't going well Carlo sat hunched over. Big Dunc is a top-class 'motivator'.... need some of that right now to get out of the 'post-Carlo Funk'

NO RESPECTO!! Eh mate?Woke up this morning to see BBC and other press sources saying we are going to go for Pirlo... the failed Juventus coach. Eight straight years dominating Serie A, then Pirlo steps in and drives them out of top 3 even, hence El Sacko!
Why would we want this no-experience, super-ego running the team? He has that dodgy 'Euro look' with blazer, long hair and lazy eye, plus he's been ANTI-ENGLISH his whole career, now all of a sudden because we are waving a big cheque-book, he wants to move to bright & sunny Lancashire??
PIRLO WOULD BE A DISASTER - STEER CLEAR. Steve Bruce or Scott Parker for me, to steady the ship.
Had he managed any more we would of lost. The players where out on their feet and clearly other then run and fight there was no tactical masterclassHe took over for 2 games and it all felt like a big gimmick at the time. LolI’m not saying I’d 100% for it but I am warming to Moyes again. He’s done a great job at West Ham, and he played some great football here in the last few seasons.
Maybe it’s what we need, at least for 2-3 seasons, some stability and an identity again. The last Everton team I actually liked was the Moyes side. He would tighten us up at the back, get the team fitter, working as a team and brands can build the squad. Plus his track record of signings was good bar the odd stinker.
Right now it could be a safe & sensible bet.
