He's survived several managers now, i don't blame him for that, I blame Kenwright and the clubs 'jobs for the boys' mentality...

We end up giving ex players jobs throughout the club, when we could be hiring better people to do all these roles....new managerial teams come and go, but the same old guard all keep their jobs...

Sure the club might have a 'great family environment' off the pitch, but on the pitch we've completely underachieved, and completely lost all identity....

Ferguson has become the poster boy for the standard which is acceptable...and our youth academy has stopped developing top talents (would the likes of Unsworth or Ebbrell have been given similar roles at other Top 8 Premier league clubs?)....

Like most of us, I have a fondness for Big Dunc myself from his playing days...but sentiment doesn't win trophies
He's been tried - he was 'kin rubbish.

I think that's all there is to it.

Any news on Potter?

the wheels are in motion for his arrival.

I think I know their reasoning:

"Look, we've tried world class managers and managers who want us to play football and it got us nowhere. Let's try the assistant to all those managers who's already had 4 games audition and stunk the 'kin gaff out by the end of it".

It makes perfect sense.

"Look, we've tried world class managers and managers who want us to play football and it got us nowhere. Lets go back to trying to find an up and coming manager again then moan like hell when that doesnt work again".

In reality we have only tried one world class manager and he clearly wasnt interested, who is to say the next one would be like that, pure assumption that they are all the same!
