Of course they do but xG is so completely irrelevant.

If a striker you're wanting to sign scores 10 goals but with an xG of 6 (so they scored more than expected) it doesn't automatically mean they're insane or purple patch etc. as all games, all situations are different.

Like I say, I love stats but xG is pure tosh.

If he does it 3 seasons in a row it probably does. Like has already been said, it's to be used over the longer term.

Got to be Big Dunc. He's done enough to learn the ropes and get this team battling. We haven't got the money to stand up against the big boys, so we need to get in there and fight for every ball. With a well run squad I think we'd push for the top four and actually get players in that play for the club.
