I look forward to the press release on Friday saying how the club are "continuing with a robust and thorough search for a new manager and will take all the time needed to make the right appointment."

Galtier = Bad XG. Just won the league with a team which has been selling their best players and continues to do so...usurping one of the richest and top teams in the world.

Potter = Good XG. Took Brighton to 15th and 16th with a 26% win rate.

Lille business model under Gérard Lopez was to buy cheap and sell them to some idiots (Arsenal) for 10 times the price they bought the players. Campos is a genius finding very good cheap players.

Doesn't look good if true and i hope its not that if true he has spoken to us and was all set to join CP which falls through that he then ends up hear, i know its all speculation but it doesn't read well from our point of view.
Dont believe everything you read mate.

Appointing NES now, to me, would suggest that the proper due diligence hasn't actually been applied in this process.

There's a number of managers out there better suited to the club than him.. this would just feel far too safe and easy. I'd really struggle to get behind his appointment tbh.

Saturday morning....
‘Everton appoint Unsworth as permanent manager’

Sunday....
‘Everton make sensational £20m offer for Shrewsbury’s 28 year old centre half Matthew Pennington’

No I think we’ve swooped for Nuno therefore he’s rejected Palace.

But that’s only my best guess, who knows what’s going on.

If we wanted him and he wanted us then it would be done and many journos would be all over it. Not one has reported anything about Nuno to us and all have reported Nuno to Palace.

Palace pulled out of negotiations with Nuno not the other way round so I don’t think we are looking at him.

Potter is now the favourite but god I hope he isn’t appointed, if he is were looking at a relegation battle

If rumours are true that he wanted to oust the likes of Dunc and bring in his own staff that could have been a stumbling block and caused delay until an agreement was reached.

I always thought from the start Nuno would get the job.

May not happen but just get the feeling it will be him.
