Why would a true fan be on this case? You saying if your not on the managers case your not a true fan?
The real fans would be 100% behind Potter, if they are knowledgeable that is
I always support the team but after a couple of home defeats who gets more leeway, Potter or some big name who everyone is excited over? If he’s appointed I would hope he does very well for us, but I’m not exactly giddy over the prospect.

It’s the nature of fickle footy fans mate (something I’ve been guilty of numerous times) I mean there were some having a pop at the club when we brought the snake Ancelotti in.
And they were right in hindsight I suppose! I’ll be behind whoever they bring in but you deffo can’t tell me there won’t be enraged fans on the phone ins when we don’t appoint Conte or the like!

I gotta a feeling it might be Potter.

I think he’s got a good reputation in the game and his teams play good football.

I can’t see Everton going for another Ancellotti after getting their fingers burnt with him and Ronco!

Potter could be another Moyes.

Howe has been around too long and doesn’t really inspire much confidence.
Nunes should be swerved too.
Big Dunc will start well but ultimately end up scrapping for PL survival.
The french guy could be another Mike Walker!

After Carlo and seeing what a mess a star name was, a lesser name like Potter should get more leeway, since they will probably be more sincere.

The last thing that is needed.

We hear continually about the need for continuity.
A new manager coming into the clubs knows nothing about the character or the personality of the players or the various other members of staff.

Expecting a stranger to arrive at the club and somehow have all this necessary information is just silly.

Having people to work with and learn from is vital.

If after the manager feels he has control and wants to move people about or move them on then that is fine
Ha ha ha. "Learn from" that shower.

FFS, heard it all now.

The French guy could also be another Wenger

Give it to Van Gaal for 1-2 seasons then Dunc/Rooney are ready lol.
Van Gaal once said to a journo: Am i so clever or are you so stupid lol ?
We will talk some sense in our under performing squad for sure !!!

Quite possibly, but there will be those saying the job is too big for him etcetera. I think most managers available at the minute will have a hard time winning over the fan base after what happened with Carlo.
