Ha ha ha. "Learn from" that shower.

FFS, heard it all now.
You may not like it Dave but your suggestion is no way to run a football club or indeed run anything of consequence at all
.

It is the knee jerk reaction of the il informed who have not stopped to consider what is involved

I put it in the category as those on here who suggest wholesale culling of the existing squad and wholesale purchases to replace them.

Juvenile thinking.

Quite possibly, but there will be those saying the job is too big for him etcetera. I think most managers available at the minute will have a hard time winning over the fan base after what happened with Carlo.

The Everton fans need to get real.
I think Potter would be given time to build and show what he can do.

Getting another Magnifico just raises expectations too high and causes the fans to rebel if we don’t perform and win every game 4-0.

I’m up for giving Potter a chance at the wheel... excuse the pun!

a lesser name like Potter should get more leeway, since they will probably be more sincere.

Not sure sincerity (whatever that means in a football context) is of much use.

Unless he gets decent results from the off, I suspect Goodison will not be kind to him & we've seen how flakey people become under pressure.

Spot on.

Brands should have cleared house by now with these coaches binned.

The club needs a clean sweep and a window cracked open on it.
Pre requisite before we make any appointments.
The last thing that is needed.

We hear continually about the need for continuity.
A new manager coming into the clubs knows nothing about the character or the personality of the players or the various other members of staff.

Expecting a stranger to arrive at the club and somehow have all this necessary information is just silly.

Having people to work with and learn from is vital.

If after the manager feels he has control and wants to move people about or move them on then that is fine
Continuity is fine if what you have is worth retaining.
Everton needs a clear out from top to bottom.

Maybe, but it’s a very large change in direction from Ancelotti to Potter. Think fans will have to get their heads round that fact.

Nobody has any idea who the next manager is going to be, just the usual click bait from the media. Everton tend to be a closed shop since Moshiri took over so we should expect someone out of left field.

If we appoint Potter or any of the other rather uninspiring names being linked I can see true fans being on their case from day 1. With the exception of Galtier that is.
Don't see any appointment that won't cause some level of meltdown.
