My shortlist is:

1) Conte (if we can convince him about Everton Project)
2) Galtier
3) Julen Lapoutegui
4) Rafael
5) Martinez

Forget Nuno, Howe and Moyes
First 2 yes, Lapoutegui dont know anything about him... Rafael no way, he's the kind of lad who'd relegate us then accept an offer from the RS to do a lap of honor at Klanfield.
Martinez do you remember how bad it was becoming under him, damn a corner against us was almost as good as a penalty.

With Brighton. Who he has playing good football but lacks the players to get turned it into results.
Yes and I think he plays a nice style and is a promising coach but forgive me I want to see a little more in terms of results personally? Like even if he had them mid table I would be more ok with it. But have their results improved from Houghton? I don't see it he finished 16th. We can say well he didn't have a forward well neither did Nuno but it seems he is less popular despite finishing above and getting two 7th place...

I can buy into projects if there is at least evidence of over achievement, sure we can trot out XG and style, but in terms of results.. Can we afford another Marco Silva? We need someone who has at least a bit more of a record/experience for me. But I'd take him over Rafael...

The English media deciding who they “understand” is next “linked” with the Everton job “according to sources”...

While I agree with a lot of that, it does question the wisdom of signing Maupay for £20m.
I guess if your not scoring goals you buy a striker, then of course you have to have good ACM to service the striker, its like squeezing a balloon full of water. Only the rich teams can buy players who excel in every position and they do. The Brighton's of the world have to buy one or maybe two puzzle pieces per season. He has brought in Lamptey, Trossard, Maupay, and Webster which all seem pretty good buys.

Who do.people actually think it will be? Not want but will get it? I really do think it will be Nuno.
Why? Everton talk to him then 4/5 days later he’s on the verge of the palace job. If we wanted him he wouldn’t have got that close to palace. I will amazed if Nuno gets it now.

Apart from that I haven’t a clue

Maupay scored 25 goals for Brentford before Brighton bought him, and he has 18 goals in 70 games for Brighton. Is not many years since we at Everton had dreamed of a striker of that quality.

I'd have Big Dunc in charge with Tony Bellew as his assistant, simple solution to the players not performing. Imagine going into the dressing room at half time and not performed! them two would scare the players into performing.

He says he needs to believe the project is serious
I read this to mean he wants £200 million this summer
Maybe he should get it! F FFP. If we broke it would 14 of the Premier League clubs really vote us a points deduction after the super league fiasco? Is a European ban really an issue when we aren't in Europe and when City get off with a small fine for similar? The hypocrisy needs to be scoffed at at this stage

I live in Brighton and have lots of mates that support Brighton, they all say Maupay is turd
