He was a good Manager at one time, I’m just not sure how I’d feel about him standing in Goodison as our Manager.
My head says yes but my heart can’t bear the thought.

I'm hating this forum at the moment, names being chucked about like confetti..... The fact Eddie howe is even mentioned frightens me so much I'm almost suicidal. Benitez would be the perfect appointment imo why are people throwing nonsense about as the reason not to appoint him? I've been battered on my opinion without any substance to back up the claims which alarms me massively.

What worries me is the club will be influenced by teenagers using computer games as reference for an argument

Out of all the managers in the world we could possibly target, do you genuinely believe Benitez is the best option?

Stand by it, he's the absolute bottom choice in my book. I'd even have ferret Eddie over him.

….he arrogantly & disrespectfully called us a ‘small club’.

Regardless of his worth, I think it would take some leap to appoint him as our manager now. We need to retain our values, we need to retain some self-respect.

I mean its not nonsense is it? A large portion of the fanbase don't want him so as soon as things go a little bit pear-shaped it's going to get toxic very quickly. I mean Steve Bruce is getting similar results at Newcastle as Benitez was. He's bottom of the list for me and a lot of other people, you seem to be the odd one out here.
