Any of the english speaking managers over the last 5 years couldn't get our lot to do anything, even run. So maybe being unable to speak english could help in some way.

Hmm. From the top of my head: Italian champion with Rome, put City out of the champions league last season. Only beaten by Bayern. In the euro league final with Marseille a few seasons ago. Champions with Lille even before the Rome title. Not to bad for a no-mark.

My take is we fired Koeman, looked at the table, saw Silva was doing well and made that our man.

Moshiri pursued him for a season I think a lot of it was that first run of form he had with Watford and one stylish win they had against Arsenal. It was based on very little point being I don't think we have only looked at league placings but yes we often seem to favour PL proven...
