Remember when Wolves absolutely embarrassed us 3-0 under Ancelotti? Don’t think they played defensively that day, but my mind plays tricks with me sometimes.

Was that the game digne gave away a penalty for no reason, then Branthwaite made his debut and forgot to mark anyone off a set piece and then pickford after trying all day to throw one into his own net he finally succeed?

Tbf they were miles better then us that day but we had our flip-flops on good and proper and they should of beaten us about 6-0. Instead all of their goals come from individual mistakes by us.

I will support him my worry is how good is he at spotting a player in the transfer market without Mendes. I guess we have Brands also but I really don’t trust him after the Iwobi transfer. I guess I really just don’t want to end up like a Wolves signing the majority of are players from one agent it wouldn’t bring us success.

The fact remains he won promotion and in the next two seasons finished seventh.
Last season he lost at least three key players for the season.

I am not sure which bit of that is flawed to be honest ?

Most managers need some period of settling in when joining a new club more so if they come from abroad
I don't subscribe to the idea that all leagues other than the Prem are populated by teams of farm labour. That's a myth Sky constructed. But having experience of losing a few on the bounce here and turning it around is important in the choice of manager. So Nuno and the experience he brings will do for me.

I supported Silva to get a bit more time. He was never my choice. I supported Koeman in his first 12 months here.

I dunno, maybe it's just me that thinks any Everton manager deserves to be given the right to prove themselves rather than just condemn him and offer them no support and pledge to 'defeat him and make his time here just 18 months'...but I doubt it.

It's called loyalty. You might want to familiarise yourself with that concept too.

Its quite mad in a lot of ways that the manager carries the can, at this stage there is a very strong case that the club itself may be the basket case and problem here - is it always the manager? Not so sure.

So if we finish seventh and have a decent run in Europe the season after?

i do think we need to get out of this cycle of changing managers. It is detrimental to the club.

He had them playing good incisive passing football in the Championship, so I think that’s his plan A

We will be ok so when we are in the championship :hayee:
