I want to see what they do after this season at roma to see how they will try fix the situation. Will be another tough summer for us again but could give us ideas on how they will run us long term
Yeah but cant Blues just be happy now and look for a bit of positivity for a couple of days at least?

God knows it's been a negative cycle of complete for nearly 3 years.

In entirely unrelated news, Roma are on their 4th manager of 2024 and firmly ensconced in the bottom half of Serie A.
Or if you want to put it another way, Roma have employed a manager to see them safely through this season, and already have plans in place to move him upstairs in the summer, rebuild and reset for next season. What are Everton doing? Floundering. Can't wait until these owners come in. Why are we so afraid of standards?

Contrary to this we have no idea what he’s been allowed to sign off on or not. If the other directors of football under Moshiri are anything to go by, I’m not convinced he’ll have had that much freedom to do his job properly.
There's no way Thelwell went to Moshiri after Ancelotti and said "we should go for either Bielsa or Dyche"
I highly doubt he had a say in Dyche.
As for the players signed, Thelwell literally wrote a book on playing 3-5-2 which would make the signing of O'Brien make more sense,
Also his duds like Maupay or Beto would have fared much better in a 3-5-2 system.
Unfortunately for him, Dyche has come in and he's had to jam square pegs in round holes.

Why has Thelwell gone the match with one of those joke shop nose/glasses disguises on?
You're just the sort of thing we're after ...

The Friedkin Group’s takeover of Everton is a “done deal”, according to Paul Brown.

The freelance journalist, who has written for Josimar and previously The Express, reported via his personal X account on Wednesday (18 December) that “multiple sources” have told him TFG have successfully bought Farhad Moshiri out of Goodison Park.
Me Nan could have told us that to be fair.
