Can I be the first to christen the name “Shithouse Capital Holdings Limited” for a couple of months time, for when we haven’t won the Champions League and the usual suspects start flinging their excrement around again?

Absolutely, I want systemic long term management of the club and not just wild money thrown at the first team to a flavour of the month gaffer. From what Thelwell says and some of the appointments he has made that does seem to be his preferred approach in fairness.

Yeah, better that than Moshiri 2.0.
I know Mendes had a huge influence influence at Wolves. But Kev certainly had his part too with a squad that became 7th twice under Nuno.

Mendes also that at Valencia with a lot of money under Peter Lim and they failed miserably.

I think patience will be required

PSR is going to make it difficult for them to do anything immediately I think

What’s within their control is getting the next managerial appointment correct and also making necessary changes to the youth set up so that it can start baring fruit in the next 3-5 years

In the short term I think we’ll still have little to spend, which is probably why Thelwell is sticking around because he’s got experience working on a budget

It’ll probably be a grind for a couple of years yet, but so long as the right decisions are being made we might have room for some optimism finally
Obviously we can't spend 150 million in one window but haven't we made significant progress in alleviating costs with certain high wage players leaving like gomes to having a net positive transfer window, shouldn't that afford us sone room to maneuver in Jan and especially the summer when a lot of contracts expire?

Restructuring of the debt and we are no longer at risk of going into administration is a great start, which would have probably happened already if Moshiri had sold out to 777. We are desperate for the good times to return. However we need to be realistic. In the short term they have put us financially on a stable footing. The next step is to appoint people to the board and managerial positions that will stabilise us and seek to grow us as a club and seek new commercial investment.
Lastly I think Dyche’s days are numbered. It’s not like we are in a position of strength in the table. The football is awful. I think they will look to bring in a new manager. I’m hoping it’s a young hungry manager, but one with experience. My preferred choice would be Nagelsman, working in tandem with a new DOF.
I agree a young hungry manager like Moyes or fat sam

think that’s the gross value, versus the debt paid off - which the club didn’t actually own.

No one quotes the share value when you purchase a private company, it's the asset value.

He didn't buy the club for 40 million, that's absurd. It's like saying I bought a 500k house for 40k, because that's all the equity the previous owner had in it.
