He confirms that Marc Watts will be an interim appointment. That's to be expected I think. I was a little surprised that they have not filled the CEO position yet, but it seems Watts will be effectively running the club for the time being and hence his Executive Chairman role. I doubt Colin Chong will have much real involvement from here on in.

Hopefully they fill the CEO role in January. It is better to wait for the right candidate and they have also been in no particular rush to appoint for the same job at Roma. There are probably other TFG executives working at the club on an informal basis also so they take their time making any appointment from outside.
Probably waiting on the person to run their notice period

Everton could be in a much better profit and sustainability (PSR) position if Dan Friedkin puts money into the club as equity.

That is the view of finance expert Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider the American billionaire has taken on about £650million worth of debt after purchasing the Merseyside giants.

Why does Marc Watts remind me of this guy.

Raiders of the lost football club.

Borson is a total blagger as a “Finance Expert”. He claims he was an investment banker at Investec but he is actually a lawyer who was part of their legal operations team. He claims to have been a “financial adviser” to Man City but again he was part of the legal team supporting the transaction. He has knowledge of legal processes, regulations, deal/debt paperwork and such but seen from the point of view of this retired CFO he has as much insight on finance and commercial as my cat.

He's not a very good lawyer either.
