What experience does he offer apart from stadium development? Genuine question and not being funny.

I think he's done a decent job steadying the ship too.

Possibly they don’t necessarily mean within Everton. People capable of managing big infrastructure development projects would be valuable to companies the size of TFG.

Know where you are coming from ate.

Sounds to me like they are going to continue to develop the stadium site and possibly surrounding area.
He'll be kept on in some sort of estates management/ development director role i expect. We've still got the demolition and redevelopment of Goodison to deal with. Then there's any infrastructure improvements to Finch Farm, Walton Hall Park and the area surrounding Bramley Moore; not forgetting the ongoing management and maintenance of the stadium itself. Plenty for someone with Chong's background to lead on.

The first year after the Roma takeover they relied on the CEO they had found, Guido Fienga. They appointed Berardi as their first CEO after a year or so. Berardi lasted a year, then they appointed Souloukou, who I read is now at Nottingham Forest. At the moment, the position is vacant.

I expect TFG to hold off on both CEO positions until the end of the season.

Makes more sense to align interviews with both clubs as the role is similar.

I suspect other football posts will also be completed in the summer.

Hope we see a signing or two the first week January.

The mini window between Bournemouth and Villa where we have a Peterborough game seems ideal to have a couple of new players in...and several out

I think there's a lot of guesswork/assumptions to fill content quotas.

My assumption is they knew who'd be CEO once takeover was completed - and it's just a matter of process.

If not, that's a tad concerning. I was critical of Moshiri early days and more so within 1 year when there wasn't sweeping changes at boardroom/exec level. Id be the same with TFG.

Wasn't it mooted in the press the CEO was boxed off.

Am sure it was mentioned more boardroom announcements would be made in the coming weeks.

I expected them to announce CEO last week but if needed better to wait if it gets them their preferred candidate.

I'm not sure if they'll pad out the board anymore and less sure still if they do so, that it will contain people from outside TFG. I hope that proves to be incorrect. A good board that does it's job of oversight should have some independent voices. Have to wait and see I guess.
