More a reply to suggesting I wouldn’t know. At the moment it’s as we were in respect of Dyche with full support and that hasn’t changed since their arrival a few weeks back.
What is wrong with people suggesting you wouldn't know? You couldn't possibly know everything. I have always had respect for you mate and class you as reliable but i do not believe for a second that you or anyone else has up to date and reliable inside info from TFG who have only owned us a fortnight, have barely got their feet in the door and have a record of keeping their business and managerial decisions very close to their chests.

It's the gesture more than anything and I've worked for some hideous humans down the years who wouldn't even give you a thanks at the end of year after making them millions.

It goes a long way.
It does mate…little gestures for me are what show kindness and caring more than something which is an extravagant one off could ever do. We can be competitive and competent as a club and generous and kind to the staff at the same time. Have a lovely New Year

It does indeed. Unfortunately I have shared your experience regarding Grinch employers.

They could have been excused for not making a gesture with just being in the door but they thought to get it done so fair play to them.

I'd imagine they told Dyche he's safe while still looking at potential replacements.

Once they have that replacement found then they'll make their move imo.

Hopefully by the time Dyche is gone then hopefully it won't be too late by then, and the damage won't be too much to undo.

the whole "full support" argument is jarg though

every owner does it and then sacks their manager the following week

see below case example of owner backing their manager with "full support" and sacking him a week later

12th December - Wolves Owner "United" in supporting under pressure manager Gary O'Neil

15th December - Wolves sack manager O'Neil

wasn't even a week, it was 3 days from "full support" to "sacked".
