Do you want to keep Dyche, or take a chance , get new manager in now with the potential to get us safe, which also gives him more time to get stuff ready for the new season ?
There's no point. I suspect the reason the new owners will stick with Dyche is that a/ he'd need paying off prior to June; b/ they have no cash to make a difference for another manager and there'll be likely more outgoings in January.

We have a manager who's got the players competitive for most of our games and earning points in them, and he has McNeil, Garner and Iroegbunam to come back in soon enough.

What costs more, his contract or our PL status?

We can't guarantee on the players coming back, it's still the same turd footy we've witnessed in 18 months.

We need a lift, and new ideas. Why not start now?

Why change when we have a manager who's a proven fire-fighter at the bottom?

I back this feller 100% to get the results we need. 100%.

The owners presumably aren't daft enough to get shut of a manager any time soon who's underlined he can do a job in even less promising positions than this current one.

Why on earth would they want to jeopardise their investment by taking a chance on a manager who wont have Dyche's experience of scrapping at the bottom?

First mistake of the new ownership. Scared to rock the boat and change a really crap manager who has done terrible this season and allow said crap manager anywhere near another transfer window where he can identify a few more slow geriatric hard yard merchants that will bring nothing of value to winning games or the future of the club.

Unimpressed if true although i still don't really believe that anyone has any real inside info as these guys tend to keep these matters close to their chests.

I don't know mate. I just don't think we should gamble on this fella till the end of the season.

If the reports are true, and the players were doing the opposite from what he was asking of them on Sunday, that's and big red alarm init?

I just don't trust him. He is a very limited manager, with no plan B other than to throw us under the number 9 bus the tit

Out of interest Dave would you get rid of him when the seasons over when his contract runs out ?

Dont think id back him 100% becuase dont kno where his head is at and the players because it looks like he will be going. I do get what your saying think it will be go by results if a massive decline say was similar. To the tun last season without a win would find it hard to stay

When Friedkin bid first came out in June, I started following RomaPress on X. I assume it's an independent fan account but they have plenty of gossip and rumour on there as you'd expect.

I don't think the thing is that Friedkin is quiet and won't say anything - that's been established - but from observation at Roma the CEO and DOF have plenty to say so I don't think it will entirely be a closed shop from them once they are fully up and running with appointments.

The De Rossi sacking was a surprise but Mourinho and Juric sackings were flagged up in advance with talk of TFG "meetings" and then flying into Rome etc.

It may be different in the immediate future here as we don't currently have a CEO and I expect Thelwell to be very wary and say nothing.

It may also be a factor in Dyches favour that TFG haven't made a full roster of appointments. But if they decide to sack him, I don't think that will save him.

If gets us safe hopefully early would like a plan of a new manager straight away the amount of change next season. We need a new manager looking at the squad early deciding if to offer what players new deals and what they want to bring in

My thoughts exactly he's done his job if we are safe, but we need to move on asap, football is a results business.
