PSR is a moveable feast. It's up to them to start laying down the law to the PL. That's how we've copped for deductions - because we had no owners in place to fight our corner.

If they dont want to see their cash thrown into the Mersey they have to get some elbow room and use it in this transfer window. Be creative. It's what they're here to do isn't it?
There will be signings, cos as you say, creativity is needed, but its not as easy as just "putting their hand in their pocket" like you claim.

Hopefully they can do some sort of player trading - won't be easy in Jan.

Hopefully there is no need to sell Branthwaite or Pickford to keep the lights on.
Pickford will return to Sunderland in about 5 years, Branners will leave in the Summer unless we hire a really good manager and "go for it".

One thing that would be nice going forward is that any announcements of new signings or other important news comes from the club without first being leaked via various ITKs on the internet or in the media. Does no good all that nonsense

As a last resort the Roma relationship might have to come into play but that has to be managed very delicately. They should certainly be looking at it with the situation we're in.

It would only work for players not getting enough of a look in at each club that might be able to offer something to the other.

Wonder would Lorenzo Pellegrini be considered for example, or Bryan Cristante? Both are having poor seasons but Pellegrini in particular might be able to offer us some creativity and goal threat. He seems to be suffering under the weight of expectation there and I don't think there would be a huge uproar if he went on loan.

Most of the stuff reported is nonsense and clickbait anyway, so the real links don’t actually get leaked as much as we think.

Not sure they can afford to wait much longer with the manager - we’ve had enough paralysis of indecision festering around the place before they took over.

I wouldn’t have let him near this transfer window tbh, we’ve signed internationals who have sat on their arses under him while his first choice favourites faltered.
