Assets we want out are the ones leaving at the end of the season - Keane, Doucoure, DCL etc. I don't see any noise from Branthwaite or Pickford wanting to leave at present thankfully. They will both know that the broom comes in the summer and the future will be rosy for the club. Unless we go down and then Branthwaite's sale will fund the summer signings.

Who has he vetoed? Which old players does he want to bring in? Not sure anyone has any idea as to the club's targets.

Dyche isn't involved in player acquisition; that's Thelwell's job.
He wanted has beens like trippier and Calvin Phillips in the summer

Dyche has in actuality retained the value of this football club for two years pretty much single handedly as there was no governance at the club apart from overseeing that new stadium build.

TFG know the job Dyche has done here and they know it has been crucial to their arrival. They wouldn't be here if Dyche hadn't galvanised this club and prevented it from falling into the Championship x2.
Have to agree to disagree there mate. He is beyond diabolical. The most clueless manager I have ever seen.

Don’t you mean senior pros with premier league experience?
Yes that’s his MO, Philips has been shocking and would have cost a fortune as would have trippier, who’s not getting much game time at Newcastle, so dyche will probably be back asking the question, at least 34 is an improvement on 36 and 39.
That’s the whole point, dyche has no interest in young players and trying to to coach and make players better

Branthwaite and Pickford don't like playing for him. It's fairly well known from a few sources. Players like Patterson stall under him because he doesn't give them a chance and can't coach. Players don't want to play for Dyche. I'm not a fan, but Elanga turned us down because he didn't want to play for Dyche.

It Is known that Dyche is incredibly difficult to recruit for and doesn't want young, skillful attacking talent. If you think it is just Thelwell making the decisions, you are mad.

Dyche is at it again for January by all accounts demanding, poor older players.

As I said, long-term damage.

I have no doubt in my mind that Dyche wants to bring in Trippier and stick him at left back with Young on the other side.

Much of this is speculation and conjecture. And I'm not mad, more to the point that's not a particularly pleasant phrase to throw about.

The bobble said it will probably be dyche making the final say and that’s why we won’t be buying them, probably a Couple
Of 6 month loans from abroad, no prem experience won’t help matters

I think that’s a solid point about Dyche valuing age because to him age is experience. And to him older experience is always more valuable than younger and less experienced. Older players with PL experience and Dyche doesnt’t need to teach them much. Just go out and defend and do what I say. Bringing in young raw talent and getting the best of them while managing and letting them be free requires a skill set he’s not so good at. Speaks volumes why his recruitment is what it is and who he passes on. And also why he always plays his trusted Burnley lads.

galvanised 😂 we are 1 point above relegation, half way through the season, with the worst offensive stats in the league and a fan base that is now just apathetic to it all.

And if we fall into the championship this season, Whose fault will you be saying that is?
