It's bad no doubt this season. But Southampton are gone and Leicester are about to get a deduction that will leave them 10 points behind us. We just need to get over the line ahead of Ipswich and Wolves. Get to the summer and then the new owners will make massive changes. Every change made this winter waters down the effect of the changes in the summer so we just need to hold the line until then.
What happens IF we get a point deduction? Then Dyche has to win games, and he’s not set up to do that.

Not how I saw it at all

If he loses the game then yes he could be sacked. But otherwise no, I dont see him going till after the 2 league home games at the earliest
He took responsibility for everything, when he ever done that?
He called himself the custodian of the club.
Talked about the club moving forward, we spoke to him when Frank was still here

I didn't take that from it at all.

I'm going on the only statement we've had from TFG indicating that stability is their immediate intention.

As Davek keeps saying unless it becomes untenable and we're adrift of 17th, there won't be a change until the end of the season.

I just extremely struggle to see a situation where the team wins tomorrow and he is sacked over the weekend

My reading of the interview was this was a manager who knows they only have a few more games to get wins to save their job. But not someone who expected to be sacked immediately.

Hey, my apology for coming late to this conversation, but when did you sit and chat with Dan or Ryan about this?
Well, the key phrase here is: 'I feel.'

That feeling is based on the fact that there word from the decent sources is that they wanted to get through to the end of the season with the useless dinosaur and still aren't pulling up any trees. Still lacking direction, clarity on the DoF situation, financial situation, key board positions, recruitment situation and the manager position.

This take-over has been in the wings fof months and they should have been able to hit the ground running.

But, by all means belittle the fact that 'I feel' this way and there has yet to be any evidence to the contrary.

Gone by Friday, regardless of the result tomorrow.
The ground swell of opinion is overwhelming,
ask the audience, they watch every nuance eight days a week.

Financial stability brings with it the expectation of real change.

Things must be done correctly on the playing side, that can be done quickly but shouldn't be rushed if the proper long term options
will be available in the summer.

Don't throw good money after bad, but make it clear the playing style has to change in the near term to something more "watchable".

they’re is no other outcome now

hopefully our new manager announced weekend

Ok, maybe I'm taking some liberty here but just so we're on the same page I'm going to interpret what you've written and see where we are

Well, the key phrase here is: 'I feel.'

So you don't actually know what TFG is planning to do, just reading the tea leaves?

That feeling is based on the fact that there word from the decent sources is that they wanted to get through to the end of the season with the useless dinosaur and still aren't pulling up any trees. Still lacking direction, clarity on the DoF situation, financial situation, key board positions, recruitment situation and the manager position.

For lack of direction, they've cleared up the finances and appointed a new board member with executive authority to run the club. Presumably Dan will have a significant role on the board, so that's at least 2 members added. And if you're correct in suggesting they want to see out Dyche's contract then that's pretty clear as well. Concerning recruitment, I presume not firing Thelwell means they're ok with him staying and continuing with regard to recruitment... which direction is lacking? Are we drinking the same tea?

This take-over has been in the wings fof months and they should have been able to hit the ground running.

Well, they did restructure the debt prior to buying the club, arrange a friendly with Roma, and then after buying the club they've restricted the debt again in a very favorable way (this appears to be what The Esk suggested but I haven't read the accounts myself. I've never run a multibillion dollar organization (nor a multimillion dollar org like Everton) but that seems like a reasonable start to things.

But, by all means belittle the fact that 'I feel' this way and there has yet to be any evidence to the contrary.

I know people want to hear positive news but sometimes there's just not much to say. At any rate, after the last guy I'm in the mood for silent owners who simply act and don't talk about all of their hard work. But I'm sure there are some who miss the days of, "Evening, Jim..."
