Not 3 weeks though is it?

They've known they were going to buy this club since june, 8 months.

Not even any feet on the ground yet. Chong is still the ceo
Moshiri had seven years of pumping money in (even if it wasn’t his) and that brought us to the brink of relegation, so I’m not sure what you think they could have achieved since they took over?

Given the rank state of our club, from top to bottom, I’m pretty sure TFG will have tons to do behind the scenes to clear out the crap and get us functioning like a proper business, and they wouldn’t have been able to start on that until they got control.

If they’ve done nothing by the end of the transfer window and we’re still sinking under Dyche, then you’ve got fair grounds to complain, but it’s crackers to be kicking off three weeks in.

What they've done at roma, not actually implementing a real board and not sorting out the issues with the manager and DoF. The fact that were still in debt and they're more then likely going to put debt onto the stadium.

Thise are my personal issues with them

Did you honestly think that any businessman was going to come in and CLEAR our huge amount of debt? The only people who are capable of clearing that amount of debt are oil states.

This isn’t directed at you but I find it insane that people thought it was going to be all systems go in 5 seconds, we’ve been ran like a Sunday league side for years with crippling debt.

They’ve been here for a few weeks trying to unfu*k Moshiri’s legacy.

Yep. And this "they've known they might be buying the club for a while" angle to attack them is insanity. They could do absolutely zilch until they took control. Due diligence periods also don't mean they're running things or have access to full information on everything about the club.

We've been ran into the ground beyond belief, I don't think some appreciate quite how much.

Erm Sean Dyche is still and there’s no sign of any new players we need. Pretty good reason.
It’s the 9th January & how much money do you think we’ve got to spend?

You & I have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes. Maybe, just maybe the owners are speaking to several managers before they pull the trigger? Unlike the last few years where we’ve sacked managers and then went “we best now find someone”

Not for the first time, people got all giddy about what was going to happen when the takeover happened, made up loads of scenarios in their head, and are now fuming that these imaginary scenarios haven't come to pass. We're just one of many investments these people have, all this talk as if they've planning everything in meticulous detail so that they would be ready to go on day 1 was always just pure fantasy.

Time will tell won’t it. Let’s wait and see if they are competent. There’s nothing to assess really though. I mean surely they are deliberating on whether to keep a manager who was won 8 games in the last calendar year.

Time will tell, absolutely. I’ll judge them over a fair period of time, not a few weeks.

3 weeks they've been in executive charge.

There are a million things to sort.

Do you have a full list of everything they've done, everyone they've contacted?

We have no idea what they are doing.

It's insane to be angry about inaction after 3 weeks.

They been buying us for 8 months.

Look at Newcastle, completely new board, sacked aload of people and new manager within 2 weeks of full completion.

Weve still got the same ceo (who was a panic appointment 3 years ago because he wasnt qualified) and the rest of them are in Texas.

Its all about succession planning and there has been none of it.

Ive waited for years because "you dont know whats going on in the background" and nothing was. As far as im concerned nothing was going on then and nothing is going on now till i see evidence there is.

One thing that’s worth pointing out when everyone is shouting ‘just get it sorted’ is that we haven’t had a proper, functioning CEO since Michael Dunford went in 2004. For twenty years the operations of the club have been run by a succession of money-grabbing stooges for Kenwright.

Chongy is by far the most competent but he’s there purely by accident and only as an interim.

What happens on the pitch is obviously the most important thing, but one of the reasons that’s been so hard to fix is that everything from top to bottom in this club needs fixing too. The club operations are supposed to support the manager/squad, not hold them back but that’s what they’ve been doing.

Moshiri papered over the cracks a bit when Usmanov blew loads on sponsorship but behind the scenes we were a failing business anyway. None of that has ever been addressed and it’s arguably going to take longer to sort out than the manager and playing squad.
