Baines admits he found out he'd be managing Everton a few hours ago.

Chaotic, this is potentially the last FA Cup game at Goodison Park.

Not good enough from TFG. They're telling media friendly folk they don't want to be seen as a soft touch.

Just not a chaotic bunch please, this is as bad as anything under Moshiri.

Peterborough manager even taking the piss about it to the BBC.
It’s in times of chaos that men are made. It’s time to step forward and embrace the opportunity that has been put in front of you.

American can do attitude is a bit more dynamic than British pragmatism.

Watched us get whalloped now at soccer ball.

It is odd timing but maybe something behind the scenes forced their hand?

Baines knew Monday...it was all matter of sorting out gravel gobs contract.

It was quite bizarre to let him do the press conference and then sack him 3 hours before the game. All i can think of is that there was either a big bust up today with Dyche and TFG and enough was enough or they have made an agreement with a new manager and will announce it very soon.

Timing was really strange, suggests it wasn’t a straight forward sacking and probably wasn’t the way they wanted to do it. I hope it isn’t a reflection on there wider approach. Really hope Moyes is a short term option and not the man for the future.
