Timing was really strange, suggests it wasn’t a straight forward sacking and probably wasn’t the way they wanted to do it. I hope it isn’t a reflection on there wider approach. Really hope Moyes is a short term option and not the man for the future.
Same here mate. 6 months fair enough but wouldn't want him for the future. Want to be moving forward, not backwards.

The worry for me is it’s the move previous ownership would have made and lacks imagination, but if he keeps us up and they move on in the summer to there prime target then ok.

Will have been negotiating settlement and probably agreed it immediately. Club can't therefore keep him in situ for this evening.
 

Again, I'm not saying there would be nobody else, but how many "progressive managers" who we so keenly want, would come here currently? It's just not the reality currently, it's far more likely we have very limited options, and TFGs sole priority is maximising the chance of us staying up.
