I said when he was sacked we'd never see Everton break that 72 points in a single season record.

I dont think there'll be any need to reassess that statement in the near future.

Ah yes. The fabled 72 point season that resulted in a 5th place finished, a massive improvement on the previous season where we finished 6th! And all we had to do was sacrifice our ability to defend with competence and our reputation as a side that was difficult to beat at home. No long lasting implications in that was there.......

Everything we are dealing with now began with the onset of Kenwright who was abetted and protected by Moyes .
Martinez failed , but he did give us a season of good football and competing at the top end of the the table for a change .

One single season where he undid all the postives Moyes brought with him without any of the postives. How on earth do you have a team with the likes of Lukaka and win five home games all season ffs?! Martinez was an utter disaster for the club.
