Despite the mid table position I look at Brighton and I can see them declining. The team is static compared to what it was 2/3 seasons ago. Only Ferguson's form over the last 2 seasons kept them relevant as a 'good little club'.

You cant lose the amount of good players they've had and not slide. Impossible to avoid.

Relegation candidates again within 3 seasons IMO.

Agree with all that mate, they spent £100s of million in the summer and would have really brodened their wage base.

Wen you do that you have to improve because you cant do that every season.

At our very worst we are still more then a match for them and that is telling.

For them not to fall eventually, they have to get every decision right all the time - that's impossible.

Its a matter of time, you can throw Brentford in there to.

Support, revenue, infrastructure, status in the game...it's why a club like Everton will always ride out tough times but clubs like Brighton, Brentford, Palace, Bournemouth etc wont.

You just have to look at Leicester City mate, they won 2/3 of the big domestic trophies in the last decade, had CL and Europe etc.

A couple of bad decisions and they fall out of the PL and are now a yoyo club trying to become a PL club again. The margin of error is small.

It’s why our stadium will also be a game changer against the clubs from 8th down, it will lift all boats.

Those clubs ultimately can’t compete with “old money”.

Clearly you don't know what you're talking about
He's barely played

The Friedkin Group haven’t yet held talks with local fans George Downing and Andy Bell about Everton investment, according to Alan Nixon.

The journalist reported via his Patreon on 26 January that the American group are open to fresh backing at Goodison to help pay bills and fund David Moyes’ transfer

when they said support the manager in Jan did they mean just wave a scarf around 🤔 or with money 💰
They’ll be waving it in their living room , have they been to a match yet ?

Not massively fussed to see them splash the cash in January unless it's long term signings. Don't think we need any panic buys and should focus on what the squad should look like next season.
That sounds very sensible.

Until this threadbare squad gets another injury or 2 to key players in the run in while the likes of Leicester & Wolves put a run together.
Time for reinforcements is here, right now.

Worry about the summer when we get over this season.
New ground & fresh investment will take care of that.
