I read yesterday that Friedkin is a 'big game hunter' who likes to shoot lions and elephants. Is this true?
I think so, and if not him personally his are fella defo was and the run a ‘conservation fund’

Bit more about them here confirms they organise hunts (main story / headline is about another outfit owned by Abu Dhabi royals)

They're a repulsive bunch of 'you know whats'.

One thing I am absolutely not into.

Me neither, seems abhorrent at face value, however I do concede there’s some nuance around conservation, hunting and poaching in Africa.

However I digress as this is about Texan Dan the Toyota man, who needs to pull his finger out with the board appointments and fronting up some funds for Moyes.

You just have to look at Leicester City mate, they won 2/3 of the big domestic trophies in the last decade, had CL and Europe etc.

A couple of bad decisions and they fall out of the PL and are now a yoyo club trying to become a PL club again. The margin of error is small.

It’s why our stadium will also be a game changer against the clubs from 8th down, it will lift all boats.

Those clubs ultimately can’t compete with “old money”.

Tbf to Leicester didn't their owner die and it completely removed all their financial backing?

Seems recruitment got worse mate and similar to us they handed some of those big contracts and some worth more left of a free.

For clubs of that size, you can only make a couple of bad decisions before its telling.

You can only cash in on Mahrez and Kante once also - when you do you have to get it right.

The difference with us we have made bad decisions for almost a decade now and still we arent odds on to go down.

At our very worst, we have to be really bad to be relegated. For Bournmouth, Brighton, Leicester and Brentford - they have to be at their historical bests to maintain in the league and are only ever a couple of bad decisions away from the drop - you can go through the Championship its a who's who of these size club, who were PL clubs, Stoke, Blackburn, Burnely, Norwich, Portsmouth, Swansea, WBA, Boro, Sheff Utd/Weds etc etc.

Brighton, Bournemouth and Brentford will go the same way before we are relegated.

We were basically 1 Pope save and 1 Doucs swinging his foot away from relegation.

I dont really think it was never as close as you claim.

PS i didn't include Leeds or Sunderland in the above - think they would have a decent chance of maintaining.
