On the precipice of being ready...all systems go.
he's injured
We have no domestic loan spots left. So we would have to buy him which we likely can’t afford at this time.If it takes until the 3rd to complete negotiations on Ferguson with Brighton (loan-to-but I reckon), then so be it. It's only 1 more game.
he's injured
Read yesterday that they are or could in interested in Ferguson. So, with Chelsea scrapping their feet with us, that gives them time to nab himCouldn't see us buying Ferguson and it would be too risky.
I'm still expecting a change from Chelsea in their stance on Broja, though. Think both sides are playing hardball there and they'll want fringe players to get minutes elsewhere.
If his loan slot is freed up, we'll take one of their players. They'll have to go elsewhere for a forward option then, but I expect they will. Ferguson is injured anyway and represents too much of a gamble in a tight spot for me.
He's settled in West London apparently.Looking at Fulham's CEO is interesting.
Ex Man City CEO before City Group took over but he moved City into the Top 20 revenue before he moved to Fulham under Khan's.
Fulham fans not a huge fan as he is a very numbers based CEO who has been accused of eroding Fulham's identity through ticket pricing.
He's had a couple of years now with a variety of different injuriesOn the precipice of being ready...all systems go.
It's not a job we need to rush into, but instead make the right decision. Chong is the one person who can come out of the last 5 years with any credit. No talk of any imminent CEO appointment. I suppose Chong can continue to keep things ticking over but you'd think that would be close to being sorted now.
They said in their takeover statement that further appointments would be made "in due course" Is a months gardening leave common for CEOs or is it longer?
There must be a lot of video calls regarding decision making if Watts is in Houston and there is no direct TFG appointee on the ground here.
