gotta say i love you and dave having a difference of opinions

even if yours are acutely correct

and his are horse sheeet
I love people having a different view about things to me, there is nothing better than explaining to people just how and why and by how much they are wrong.

And Davetron 3000 is the biggest and best at being WRONG.

First job they had after taking control was bringing in several players to bolster a severely lacking squad with a manager that had all but checked out. They knew the issues with the squad months before they took control and will have had detailed conversations with those paid by the club to identify and negotiate for new players.

Six weeks into their control and eight games later with 95% of the transfer window gone, not a single player has been brought in and we're now officially down to the bare bones of the squad. Within 14 days the manager will have gone from expecting several players brought in for the starting XI to highlighting financial limitations and finally to admitting it's unlikely we'll do any business (not his fault).

The fourth choice striker is now our only striker, no left back cover, only two fit central midfielders unless you drop the awful Doucoure deeper, and Gueye now forced to play 90 minutes every game until the end of the season.

The risk of injury to the rest of the squad has now been significantly heightened as key players will barely get a rest, the manager cannot rotate without risking games and we're once again scraping around seeing if literally anybody can be brought in to pad out the squad.

Massive thanks for helping get us out of the financial mess we found ourselves in, but we'll be right back there and then some if players aren't brought in and we get relegated as they didn't do the job they needed to.

Obviously if business is done and it turns out we had deals agreed to be announced in the final days of the window it will all have turned out great, but let's not forget the risk taken by leaving the squad without reinforcements throughout the month of January. And anyway, that won't turn out to be the case, so moot point.

Any pant-wetting accusations should be complemented with relevant arguments as to why any of this is incorrect.
