The one thing you can say for sure is that we've had a much better hit rate with loans since Vaughan was in position. Not 100% but miles better than before. Whether that was due to him or thelwell or someone else, we'll probably never know.

There’s every chance that Moyes is bringing in his own man, which may have no bearing on JVs credentials. That’s still no evidence on why he was job for the boys. The simple fact is you can’t back that up. That would take some mature thinking about it, which is clearly difficult for you and that Mike kid.

Or there is every chance he got the job because of his connection with the club,which has happened numerous times throughout the years at Everton Football club....but not anymore

My evidence his credentials aren't good is that he's been giving his P45 by the club...and by a manager who gave him his debut.

Not many youngsters have come lately especially during a time where the first team talent pool has been so low.

As head of pathways I pin that on Vaughan.

Cannon, Simms and Ishe Samuels Smith. Apart from Armstrong, they're the only 3 that have had a real sniff of first team action.

At the end of the day you can only put players into the first team that are actually good enough. And the academy has had barely any money for recruitment because the finances have been such a shambles. (Plus the academy ban from a few year back).
