Ideally I'd see him as sporting director but you'd assume he would want to see out World Cup qualifying with Austria. He isn't the youngest guy either.

And it is not hard to see why when the Toffees are sat rock bottom of the Premier League table without a win in their opening five games.

But there is a lot to be optimistic about with Farhad Moshiri’s time at the club finally looking like it is coming to an end.

The Friedkin Group are now closing in on the takeover at Everton and could even get the keys to Goodison Park by the end of the year.

The Friedkin Group are already contacting potential managerial replacements for Dyche with the Everton boss under growing pressure.

The question is whether Kev would want to work under a supervisor or outgrew that role and wants to become DoF at another club.

That's the point though isn't it. Once a brand new board are appointed the first job will be gap analysis then look at performance of the functions on how the club is run. Then go and implement an improvement strategy then create grow the brand. TLDR sack marketing they are gash and create a new one.

Yes. That wasn't my point, though. I was replying to someone who said that the Kitbag deal was a good deal because it gave us more money than we could make running it ourselves. I was suggesting that that was a very short termist viewpoint.
