@mods can we please sort this thread out? its being monopolised by a single person who just repeats the same claims over and over. Some of us want to actualy read about the takeover.

People denied there was a funding shortfall at all before. When I told them there was. The club themselves confirmed Friedkin are closing it today. Having previously denied it existed.

I think it disgraceful that the club executives again misled people. But for Friedkin coming in the stadium had a funding shortfall.

That should make people very cautious about what comes out of the mouths of those at the club.

You might not appreciate me raising it. But it's done in the club's fans best interests

Funding originally was always coming through Usmanov and after the sanctions it was always a wing and a prayer stuff as there was no plan B

Unless it was in Friedkins interest too, as they could access funding on more favourable terms.

Everton line up funding streams to cover final payments and ongoing operational costs.

TFG come in for purchase of the club and can access better terms for those same final payments and operational costs.

Hey presto, Everton had funding in place & TFG have supplied funding. Both things can be true.
It doesn't take some sort of super brain to see that does it?

Stop trolling and let people read and post as they wish then. The mods have enough to do without you trying to cleanse threads of people who's opinions don't suit your agenda.

It wasn't there. If it was there would have been no need for Friedkin to provide "operational and stadium" funding

But you don’t know that
If I have AIP for a home improvement loan at 8% and then get a chance to remortgage for 4% which am I going to choise

Thanks for letting me speak on the forum.

I've answered people in response to questions mainly tonight. There has been lots of replies to me. I can't help that. Its very topical and contentious and some don't like the details. Some definitely needed answers to what they posted to me.

Clearly, Dave Powell has heard direct from the club and Friedkin Group that the situation is as I stated back on 24 September and is true. More funds were needed.

People know now. My entire point is people should be very cautious of claims made by the club. They don't stack up

Nobody should be denied a voice, the fact a passionate, match going Blue is treated like you on here is a sign of the times - we're living in a world where you're a better Evertonian coz you spend every day finding fault and bickering on an Internet forum than if you actually support the club in a tangible way. I genuinely don't think I'm a better Evertonian than anyone else. I come on here as certain posters make me laugh.

Here it's about an important message I think people need to understand. Club officials do mislead. It's happened here. This takeover from 777 Partners to now has been nothing but drama. A little caution and not excluding things that aren't to a "positive" agenda are important for people to get a true picture.

We are lucky Friedkin Group are coming in. The future of the club looked dire until they did step forward. But that doesn't mean we ignore what's gone on. Or be naive about things

Question anything the club says

They've (at the club) taken us all for granted and think we are stupid. We aren't
