If they end up with Mancini after all this then they have arrived at a good decision eventually.

World class Mourinho wins a cup and then...

...Appoint De Rossi - Legendary Roma player with close to a 50% win rate, given contract extension but sacked after 4 games this season.

Appoint no mark manager & sack him.

Hire hated former Lazio player & Manager Mancini?

Roma fans will surely riot and TFG will be finished there.

He’s not going to be here next season. Most mangers charge in the summer. Best time, plan carefully and get everything sorted
Usually what you said there would be spot on, however Dyche is on a fast downwards trajectory with us that shows no signs of slowing.

Results are awful - relegation worthy - and performances are largely disgraceful. We have had by far the 'easiest' fixtures from the teams in and amongst us in the division.

Once fixtures have evened themselves out more (by end of the year, teams below us will have had a chance to catch us as we have the hardest run of games until 2025 and they have more favourable fixtures), I am sure we'll be anchored in the relegation zone, deservedly so.

Changing the manager as soon as possible is imperative imo.

I'd be astonished if TFG were so bad at reading the room as to appoint a Lazio legend at Roma.

If they display such little knowledge and empathy here it won't last long.

Moshiri hired Benitez and his relationship with Everton has lasted as long for him to decide he wanted out....so i think Freidkin will also last as long as they want irrespective of levels of incompotence shown. I think we should know by now it's always the manager that takes the hit for bad owners.

Sorry you misunderstood or more likely I didn't express myself very well.

Yes , Moshiri remains in charge ( sort of ) and can do so for as long as he wants but in the eyes of most Evertonians the relationship was doomed to fail from the time that he appointed Benitez.

They should get De Rossi back and bring in Totti: https://romapress.net/totti-complains-about-lack-of-opportunities-for-him-at-roma-nobody-calls-me/

Im amazed they extended his deal and sacked him after only 4 games.

Im in agreement with their fans.

If Mancini is hired then I think we can see how poor TFG will be for us as well.

….Benitez was a disastrous appointment on and off the pitch. Decent performance on the pitch might at least keep the wolves at bay but it will always be a fragile situation.

From what I’ve read of TFG, they use a specialist recruiting agency to identify Manager/DoF appointments. Hopefully they are using a different one when they give Dyche and Thelwell their P45s.

As has been said a complete and total reset within the Club from top down is an absolute necessity. If our motto stands for anything then our prospective new owners need to take it on board from the word go and re-energise the whole concept of what it is to be a successful and resurgent Everton capable of not only competing but successfully so on all levels.

Using a nautical analogy - given our impending new home by the Mersey - with the correct guidance, investment and direction this lumbering footballing behemoth which has been in dry dock for way too many years can still be rescued from the breakers yard to set sail once again on the high seas.
