I was convinced these guys had spent the past 6 months strategically planning for various scenarios regarding Everton, given that they were spending a frightfully large amount of money to buy into a football club. I was convinced they wouldn't have spent that time sat on their arses watching homes under the hammer but I think I may have been mistaken.

This club reacts far too often as opposed to taking the initiative and it results in groundhog day time and time again with poor managers facing the chop once they inevitably run out of ideas.

Don’t panic, they using the sage advice every club that is aspiring to greatness follows….

They asked themselves ‘what would Everton do?

Which of course is absolutely nothing until it’s unavoidable.

I think they probably have gamed out a bunch of scenarios, including the one we find ourselves in, but they were probably hoping to be a few points better off and that we could bump to the end of the season just about keeping our heads above water. They may still be hoping for that which is the concerning thing.

The same Paul Brown that says TFG aren't considering changing the manager ?

Everton - the new Brighton.

Any sign of Jimmy Melia coming in as well?

It's a bit worrying that not only are TFG dithering over Dyche's future but they some how see Potter as a suitable replacement. Potter is okay in his own right but he's not for us. It would be a hopeless and disastrous appointment at this time especially. In my opinion.
I fully expect us to get someone much worse than Potter. We will get a foreign manager our fans will cream themselves over and will then want him out before pre-season finishes.

Let's hope something happens because it's been hugely depressing of late.
