New Everton Stadium

Fair enough, but I doubt we paid six million for Koeman when he only had 12 months left on his contract, we simply would have not had to have paid that much.

widely reported we paid 5-6m compo for koeman.
either way we didnt make a 3m profit this summer and its just propaganda by a certain poster to fit his agenda.

It's widely reported that we had a negative net spend this summer, with the amount ranging from 1 million to 3 million. I don't believe that we paid six million pound compensation when he only had 12 months left on his contract.

I think it was a net spend of about 7-8mio (factoring in Barnsley's cut of the Stones sale). However, Walsh and Koeman and El Fraudo's severence would take it to about 21mio

Minus the 2 months wages we saved 7m
Minus the loan we took out 15m
Minus the Sky money 85m

Net spend of minus 107m

I mean if your gonna include compo, you gotta include everything else surely?

With regard to the water treatment plant and the smells.. maybe the plant hasn't needed to contain the smells so much as there's not much around there at the moment. If Moshiri is planning on building this multi hundred million pound stadium along with the proposed "football quarter" of bars, restaurants and hotels... I can't for a second believe they haven't investigated this issue.

Seems there are measures they can take and have to take at times.

Sorry if already posted previously.

Sorry it isn't. The Emirates down Ashburton Grove whilst a very decent stadium is hemmed in on a plot in the region of 17 acres. There is isn't much space surrounding it.

Hence us also rumoured to be buying up as much land around the area also.

Im sure they have done the math, unless you think we are gonna build it and then turn round and say "it doesnt fit, take it all down"

Or surrounded by Cruise Ships, Ferries, outstanding architecture and the docks if you're not the glass half full kinda guy.

I get sea sick, I hate the idea of us having a state of the art stadium, surrounded by new infrastructure, a redeveloped docks and better transport systems. All because I go up and down, up and down, up and down on the waves.

I joke of course.

Quality of the stadium needs to be state of the art...I doubt VERY MUCH it will be anything like it.

Right now mate I would be buzzing if we could just take out the bleeding obstructed views :D

I believe that with Moshiri's ties to the steel industry (only rumours I heard, maybe via usmanov) means that we should have the right people in place to help build something iconic.

of course what is iconic to some may be too fancy to others or simply not to peoples taste. For example the Allianz arena lit up looks amazing, but only if the stadium is a four sided square (Imagine the feel of goodison but build like a san siro or Signal Iduna Park).
