I'm no sewage expert (YEAH I KNOW I TALK ALOT OF IT) but it's not the pipe that stinks its the swimming pool sized treatment areas...........i e where they blast the turds with chemicals that stinks..............said before there is one in Chester and the area approx 1 square mile stinks constantly dependent on the wind direction.

If we build next to it on BMD and that place is still operational i 100% guarantee it will stink to high heaven.

Why is a crap wall that was built by slaves of historical importance? I see no reason why it should be conserved. I would hope that LCC would allow us to demolish it, despite it's ridiculous listed status.

It's listed but it wasn't built by slaves, the wall further down by the Pier Head was built by French prisoners from the Napoleonic War.

Well using that criteria we should demolish all the historic buildings in Liverpool. That would leave our tourist industry reliant on the possibly ephemeral attraction of the worlds first boy band.

Yeah, because thousands of tourists visit the crap dock wall each year. It has little purpose, and is not worth conserving if it means thwarting 200 million pounds worth of investment and the progress of the City of Liverpool.

With regard to the water treatment plant and the smells.. maybe the plant hasn't needed to contain the smells so much as there's not much around there at the moment. If Moshiri is planning on building this multi hundred million pound stadium along with the proposed "football quarter" of bars, restaurants and hotels... I can't for a second believe they haven't investigated this issue.

Some of these figures are way off mate. Stones was sold for around 47 million, and Koeman only had a year left on his contract at Southampton so I doubt we paid six million for him.
