14 years ago you nugget.

A Group Litigation Order was made and the litigation continued on a fairly amicable basis. Eventually a settlement was reached, without any admission of liability from the defendant, which was approved by the Court on 18 May 2010.

The sewage treatment works could not be prosecuted because of a loop hole in the law which made the site exempt !

So he was designing before moshiri? Sounds suspect to me.
Moshiri was in talks with Bill for around 18 months before commiting in Feb/March this year.
With a new stadium at the forefront of the deal , architects and planning proposals will have been sought.
Nohing suspect there mate .Just fits in with the whole takeover process and eventual ground move.

I'll say it again as Lucas Oil pops up every few pages. Been there. Hated it. Everything is out of proportion. The facade is ugly and brutalist. Arguably Camden Yards (Baltimore Orioles) facade works far better as a blend of brick/glass but the unique shape and internal layout of Baseball stadia means you don't have the same four-sided monolithic problem you get with a rectangular design like Lucas Oil. The glass end wall is impressive as a tourist but as a fan I'd rather have more seats behind the goal than a picture window.

I've said before there is no way any new stadium design will please everyone. On balance I'd ask only that it truly stand-out, not look like a dozen others, and that it be designed to optimise the pitch quality and the fan experience with the emphasis on creating atmosphere and getting the basics right (spacious & bright concourses, safe stairs, plentiful modern toilets, plentiful & varied food outlets) rather than loads of spurious bells & whistles to demonstrate affluence.

Executive facilities and premium 'club' seats should integrate into the design not drive it. For example, I like how Tottenham have designed their new stadium with the focal element being a giant single tier Dortmund style home-end stand rather than prioritising a ring of executive/premium seats like Wembley. They'll have loads of premium facilities but that stand should define the stadium.

Exactly this - part of the due diligence process would have been assessing the likely locations, costs, and possible designs of a new stadium, therefore it is no surprise that preparatory work was done before the acquisition of shares.

I know other parties interested in the acquisition of Everton undertook some of these processes.

Hope to god that GP has a nicer fate than this!
From the Sporting Life website today:
"The Boleyn Ground was reportedly blown up on Monday evening for a movie called Fatal Score, which stars Pierce Brosnan and former WWE star Dave Bautista and is said to involve armed criminals holding fans hostage inside a football stadium".

Saw the video where they started to blast it into oblivion. If that happends to Goodison imagine the uproar. Hammers fans are devastated.
