If an announcement does come it'll be so vague as to be meaningless. Then we head into the Crimbo period and all forget about it again.

The Kenwright Administration would not have sacked Roberto 'What a manager' Martinez, nor would he have been able to afford to do so, or been able to attract Ronald Koeman to the club, or afforded to pay the compensation to Southampton.

So there's not much 'Hmmm' about it.
