Whatever is built, no matter what the cost, we should throw our history all over it, our history is our own and that alone will make it unique.

Exactly, you can't un-name a stand so I'd rather not.
We all know who the legends are.
Love to call it the new goodison only problem is its a mile away from goodison . Maybe the Mersey arena
would personally like to stay away from "Arena" at all costs, but it all depends on who's paying for the name.Love to call it the new goodison only problem is its a mile away from goodison . Maybe the Mersey arena
And if it looked like this we'd be sorted. How about we call it "Goodison" (drop the park bit to signify the change.)
Here's another radical idea; how about we name the stands the gladwys street, the bullens, the park end and the main stand???
Even if this was a sarcastic post I still agree with itAnd if it looked like this we'd be sorted.
No sarcasm intended.Even if this was a sarcastic post I still agree with it

Well, if I take a small look on a few stadium that were built in a last few years, we have...
₤140M for San Mames (capacity 53k)...
₤85M for Juventus Stadium (capacity 41k)...
₤150M for Türk Telekom Arena (capacity 52k)...
₤270M (well, Russia - corruption everywhere..., it should cost ₤90M at first) for Kazan Arena (capacity 45k)...
₤150M for PGE Arena Gdańsk (capacity 43k)...
It would be amazing to have a similar stadium like these clubs have... There has to be a chance we have ₤10-15M per year available for the next 10-15 years, that new TV deal looks massive and as there will be really likely another really big money jump for 2016-2019 period, we simply have to have some money available for a new boss stadium like this as well as some money for new players, well, just imagine the San Mames stadium in royal blue...
I like that we don't let the away fans have their own end at Goodison.
I'd carry this tradition over to the new stadium (but what to call it...?)
