I understand that and I'm not going to live in a dream world of £100 season tickets, but increasing capacity and reducing (if only slightly) the price of tickets would make sense for both club & fans

If only we lived in a world were common sense prevailed, and the people that run the club listened to the fans, or even better the government listened to the common man, what world that could be, alas were damned to live in the world were common sense is a rare commodity, even rarer in the so called patriciate.

Yeah that's true - he'll want to go down in history as the man who gave Everton the ground - Madejski style.

Wishful thinking but if we ever did move I would like Goodison Park to become our official museum not just for our own history but also express the contribution that ground has had to world football.

It should be referred to once we leave as the first purpose built ground in the world and all the other firsts inside should be on display for all to see

The sale of the land would form part of the funding, or what's left after the borrowing against it

They should make sure that given the investment is going to be big, at least future proof the stadium and make it easy to upgrade like Citehs, they are adding extra 7-10k this yr, and due to be complete for start of nxt season I think

Yes this is a must. If it's 50k have plans (and hopefully planning permission) for at least another 10k.
