New Everton Stadium

Ahh well, three seasons - one a record breaker for points taken the second not much really, the third a couple of long cup runs.

Just about ahead of the game as far as our recent history is concerned.

Over to Koeman. Maybe he can go beyond that and get a CL place and/or cup win. He should do it like because he got 7th at Southampton.
He also got 6th with them.

Not only would that stadium look like a Dali cast-off, Liverpool itself has turned into a high camp Mega City One.

Seems to be a huge phallic radio tower in the middle of town too - is it the new one for TalkSport?

What can't 've seen is the new clock tower where at the stroke of every hour a miniature version of moshiri comes out on his knees to service the miniature Jim white coming from the other side

Built on Pochettino's foundations that...just like Martinez's record breaking first season was built on Moyes' defence. :coffee:

I know your fishing with the last part Dave, but wouldn't argue about it, Koeman benefitted HUGELY from the fact the players he inherrited had an amazing level of fitness when he arrived and allowed the pressing game to be utilized - right now we are seeing IF he is capable of training that into players who haven't got any degree of fitness, Klopp did it, Poch did it at Saints as well and at Spurs, Lets see if Koeman can manage to do it

Mr Moshiri said on the radio that our new stadium will be a gargantuan structure, so I think that we will end up with a capacity of 60,000 at the very least.
I remember as a kid going to see a Sinbad movie (The Seventh Voyage) . In it, the Cyclops was called 'the gargantuan'.

Here is a picture of the gargantuan :

I hope our new stadium is better looking...

...he'll have to drag himself off the golf course for that mate!

Did you read his comments on the youngsters yesterday, btw? Horrendous.

Yeah read them mate, which is why me being generally annoyed at the Lukaku stuff has gone over the line into royally pissed off at the bloke, already fully expecting either mccarthy or cleverley to start against Swansea now

Still think we missed the boat 3 1/2 years ago on not going for Tuchel before he left mainz (and said so at the time), but that ship has sailed now, and tbf pre takeover he likely wouldnt have gone near us anyways

You and a feller called Timak both called that: I have to hold my hand up and say I thought he was over rated at Mainz. But he really is a good coach and plays the type of footy I'd love to see Everton play.

Not gonna claim to be some massive guru of managers mate, just read a couple of very good interviews and a very well written discussion piece examing him and his ideas and training etc when he was at Mainz (one of those new wave of innovative managers articles) and everything about him ticked the right boxes.

Always better to have an innovator rather than an immitator, even if that innovation is a major tweaking of an established system.
