.....is that information that has been passed you via a reliable source? Perhaps I'm naive but I tend to think folk post with the best of intention and feel sorry for those who don't.

not sure if you're joking but I agree.
I think that stadium looks like a deflated football and the gimmicky lights will date badly as far more advanced lighting becomes mainstream.
Also it's boring inside. Not a patch on Juve or Dortmund's homes.

There are better facades available than what you get at the Allianz Arena. Facade Technology has progressed massively in the last few years.

i think he actually wants us to go there. cetainly seems pretty desperate for the docks move to not happen.

There should be an amnesty on these sort of posts. Or something like, when posts along a certain sentiment are used over 250 times, the words should be added to a banned list. It would surely help with having to read the same old boring nonsense replies.

I would like a modern twist on a classical stadium design.
Take the best of old Stadia like Goodison as a basis for design and then work from that starting point.
I cannot help but feel that the super new designs like the one shown above will become dated very quickly.

I've said before on this thread, though is unlikely given the rather tight plot on the docks, that I'd like to see a stadium where a host of entertainment, hospitality and retail units are harmoniously built into the stands themselves, with the pitch at the centre. I always picture a cross between the O2 and GCHQ (The Doughnut), but it would need a lot of land to achieve it.
