New Everton Stadium

Well, its a time they have the opportunity to show what they can deliver, its not like its a deadline.

We should maybe not expect a full announcement with renders and fly throughs, bu rather some financial indication leaning towards the purchase of the rights to buy the land. They'll be expecting plenty of questions about the ground, so will have every question covered anyway.

I just hope that attendees act in the correct manner, and also the board, in order to prevent it from collapsing into a mockery as it has done in the past.

Not trying to be offencive or anything but are you back tracking...already?

After all this talk, hints and staged photoshoots at the docks...if they dont give fans something real, something big to get excited about ....then....not even going there. It would be way too familiar punch into the face

But they can't just magic something out of the air if it's not ready for announcement yet.

Deals like this take time and can't be rushed. They had to call an AGM now, and I'm sure the ideal for everyone would be some sort of update - but not at the expense of potentially even putting the deal at risk.

Hopefully we will get something on Wednesday, but if we don't, it doesn't mean it's not going to happen at all

I understand that. But still, if this AMG will be leaving us feeling like a flat tyre again then that is a discrace.

At a minimum, I think they need to confirm the location and provide a loose timescale. If there are significant financial issues over the purchase still to be settled, then they should say that, too.

If we know we need to wait 6 months for a proper announcement and renders and the like, I think we'll all wait. The lack of any sort of formal communication of plans is the problem.

Elstone will have some pie charts to educate the plebs how Kitbag and Chang are actually the best deals in the prem and us finishing 11th twice was pound for pound a great achievement. What more do you want you ungrateful lot.

It would be good if the club/board could at least acknowledge the worst kept secret... something along the lines of..." As you may know there is a considerable amount of speculation regarding a potential ground move to one of two locations within the city. Everton Football Club can confirm that planning for such an event is ongoing and a full review of the options will be made announced on (inset date)... At least it would give a) a firm indication of intent and b) a specific time period for supporters to understand and not jump on GOT every five minutes to see if anything has happened.

Think it's the least the supporters deserve.

Hehe...this is the fear.

But Im really hoping we can do a bit of two hand windmilling after this one

"The club was restricted [in its ability to] expand Goodison by banking covenants so we've repaid the debts, we have the finances."
Never noticed that in the previous Moshiri interview. Hope we aren't staying. (Source- Esks latest echo article)

This is what Im getting at. We hust need to be sure we dont fume if there is no presentation and fanfare complete with 3d printed miniatures of the stadium. Im sure/would hope there will be something of note with regards tye stadium, we just need to be realistic with what that is.

@TheFinnFan Im not backtracking on anything, I have no idea about announcement plans or anything, Im not sure i've intimated that I do. Im just aware that there could be a huge fume if something isnt delivered to expectations that people have made up.

This all still depends on Peel Holdings willingness to change their plans
They are very likely to ... but they have made no statement yet
For this reason everton can declare nothing yet

From the same interview
"So the way to compete is to build a big stadium, to increase merchandising and commercial income and we have no restrictions to spend."
