That new Chelsea stadion is not that bad for me. Not a fan, but it is an absolute original for a football stadium. And that totally reminds me what I really want from our new stadium: It has to be original. Unique. And should be phenomenal phenomenal phenomenal phenomenal, really.

Laws of the universe will never allow this to happen. You know there's be some FA points deduction for stadia with a capacity above 60k.

They are rather landlocked though. Probably the best they could shoehorn into the site.

I think it's unique yeah...but to me it looks hideous! Almost church-like...not for me m'lud

It's actually meant to resemble Westminster Abbey. Built of London stone or something.

I thought it looked terrible when the first released the images a couple of years ago, but I've grown to love the design - from the outside.

I think it will look awful inside though. Because to the shape it will be different heights all the way around, with the highest points being between the goal and half way line. Maybe that's just me though. The angle of the main stand at Goodison has always irritated me too. I probably have mild OCD lol.
