I think the Chelsea stadium looks great. Completely unique and I don't think the design will age as badly as some of the "modern" looking stadiums might. Shame their fans are a bunch of ..... though. Don't deserve this.

Really hope if/when we see our new stadium on the waterfront it will feature a lot of brickwork.

That stadium is ruined by its surroundings. It's crammed in, with the edges snapped off.

Great theory, poor execution in the wrong location.

We won't have that problem on the docks, thankfully.

Had a 'discussion' on twitter last night with a Chelsea fan who was adamant that their location is the best because it's in a place with better schools.

I like Chelseas new ground, better than having a generic glass bowl, that's something that will still look good for future generations

The pillars are on the OUTSIDE. Are you suggesting the stands are made of perspex?

No. But by the looks of it the pilars reach up to the top of the structure. It might have an effect ? (->stripe shadows on the pitch)
