Whatever it looks like, 1000's of fans would have a moan.

Just like we have a large number of world class scouts who possess an incredible knowledge of the global game amongst our fanbase.

That's just the nature of thing's. My missus has just bought a brand new Mini Cooper, me and my lad think it's crap, she loves it. I love my car, my other half hates it because of the Recaro seats, and because it's only got 2 doors.

In all honesty, and I might be wrong here, but I would ignore many of the descriptions given months and months back and just look forward to what will be announced. The design will have been fluid right through the process and may well be greatly removed from the original design for many different reasons, (if there were indeed any original designs)

Trouble with much of this is that different people will have a different interpretation of what those 3 words mean in terms of a stadium. For example, 'Futuristic' to me would suggest a bowl of some sort, sweeping lines similar to that of a Zaha Hadid creation, whereas Dan Meis has intimated that it may be a four sided stadium in a traditional sense.

Iconic? Possibly the most used word of the last 5 years and can mean absolutely anything....

There will always be disappointment on some sides.

I think it's the crusaders proposed (or maybe even now their new) stadium. I was having a laugh after reading Jacko's post about managing expectations and taking it to the extreme...

no offence like, but if you're going to put something like that through, you've got to make it not obviously bitter. Write something about liverpool city residents etc. Not LFC with an inclusion of #YNWA at the end, makes it seem like a blue on a wind-up it's so obviously bitter.

The FA needs our new stadium for when it bids to host another competition. Imagine the fume over there if the big stand is just used as a fan park while tournament football is being played at our gaff.
